Backup Information As the Resolution notes, the Kerrville South Wastewater Project began in July 2000, when Commissioners Court gave approval for grant applications to be filed to fund this project. Since that time, Kerr County has been awarded four grants totaling $1.SM for the multiple phases of the project. UGRA, likewise has funded $170,000 in grant matches bringing the total funds available for the project to $1.670M. The initial phase of the project is now about 85 percent completed, having overcome excessive wet weather, flooding in 2002, and other delays. Much of the delay centered around constructing the sewer by-pass line around the Rolling Green lift station, which was a requirement of the City of Kerrville to hook up to their Bandera Hwy. trunk line for Phase I and subsequent phases of the project. To enable this piece of the project to be constructed required negotiation of a sewer line easement across the Riverhill Country Club golf course; and performing the construction work to minimise interference with golf course play and multiple tournaments. Recognizing the value of this project to the Riverhill area in general, and the Country Club property in particular, the RHCC Board of Directors and Management worked cooperatively with the County and UGRA to facilitate the project. I believe it would be appropriate to adopt the RESOLUTION OF THANKS as a statement of our appreciation for their contribution to this worthwhile project. One final note: The Inter-local Agreement between UGRA and the City of Kerrville has been completed, and awaits approval of the respective governing bodies.
