On 10/22/2003, inspector Miguel Arreola made the final physical inspection of this facility. Based upon that limited inspection, the
information provided by the applicant, the records of the Kerr County Environmental Health Department, and the applicable Rules and
Standards, the Licensing Authority finds that the facility is in substantial compliance with the minimum requirements of the Standards
and Rules, but at the time of the inspection(s) of the facility, there was no evidence that the facility was causing or threatening to cause
injury to the public health or nuisance conditions and was generally functioning in a satisfactory manner.
Any license, permit, or other authorization issued under these Rules shall automatically terminate if not properly amended,
transferred, or authorized if:
(1) there is a subdivision of the property served by the on-site sewage facility;
(2) there is a sale of the property served by the on-site sewage facility;
(3) the property is used for a purpose other than that described in the original application;
(4) the loading of the on-site facility is increased beyond that stated in the application;
(5) the facility fails;
(6) driveways, storage buildings or other structures are constructed over the treatment or disposal systems; or
(7) for secondary treatment, such as aerobic units, failure to maintain a current and effective
maintenance agreement as required by TCEQ OSSF Rules, Subchapter A, 5285.7.
(Testing and Reporting is required at least once every four months.)
It will be the responsibility of the Licensee to maintain and operate the facility in a satisfactory manner. The proper performance of an
on-site facility cannot be guaranteed, even though all provisions of State Standards, and County Rules and Standards have been met.
Inspection and licensing of an on-site sewage facility by the Licensing Authority shall indicate that the facility meets minimum
requirements and does not relieve the Owner of the property from complying with the County, State, and Federal Regulations. On-site
sewage facilities, although approved and meeting minimum standards, must be up-graded or connected to a sewer line by the Licensee
at the Licensee's expense, if the Licensee's operation of the facility results in objectionable odors, if unsanitary conditions are created, if
pollution or nuisance conditions are threatened or occur, or if the facility when used does not comply with government regulations.

Dear Owner:
This letter is provided for informational purposes as well as a reminder that we have not received a copy of a
renewed contract for the maintenance of your on-site sewage treatment and disposal system that serves your
above-referenced property.
Our records show that your aerobic contract expired 8/11/2002 and your system was last serviced 7/13/202
by W. E. Vlasek.
As stated in Chapter 285.7(c)(2) of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality's (TCEQ, formerly
TNRCC) On-Site Sewage Facility Rules, "Before the current contract expires, the owner of an OSSF is
required to have a new maintenance contract signed. A copy of a new contract shall be submitted to the
permitting authority at least 30 days before the contract expires ".
Before the expiration of the contract, you have an option to renew your contract with the same provider or
select another service provider, if trained, for your system type. The maintenance company is required to
service the system at least once every four months and provide copies of all maintenance and repair records and
inspection test results to you, as well as to UGRA, the permitting authority for Kerr County.
Please ask your provider to submit a copy of your renewed contract to UGRA within thirty (30) days from
the date of this letter. If you do not have a renewed contract, a list of valid maintenance companies is enclosed
for your use.
According to the OSSF State Regulations, which are also county-adopted rules for which UGRA administers
for Kerr County, if the homeowner does not comply with this request, the License to Operate a septic system in
Kerr County will be placed in delinquent contract status. This status will lead to enforcement actions through
the appropriate J. P. Court. Accrual of additional re-licensing fees, filing fees, and court costs may be assessed.
We are very concerned that if an aerobic system is not being properly maintained, it may be distributing
untreated sewage on the surface of your yard and into the air exposing you, your family, and neighbors
to a public health hazard. Our intention is to inform you of these health hazards and request that you or
your provider submit a renewed contract within the designated timeframe.
As residents of Kerr County, we are very fortunate to have such clean streams and water supplies. We should
all do our part in helping maintain our high quality of living in Kerr County, Texas.
