The County Court Kerr County, Texas Resolution Whereas Long-range planning is a valuable tool utilized by both public and private sector decision makers in allocating limited financial resources; and Whereas Kerr County Commissioners' Court determined that such an exercise could provide insights and possible strategies to better prepare The Court to meet future challenges more effectively; and Whereas Professional guidance to plan and lead discussions of this nature is of inestimable value to the participants; and Whereas Christopher M. Avery, Ph. D., an expert in the field of long-range planning who assists businesses and agencies throughout the world, offered his expertise and services to Kerr County on February 11, 2004, in a long-range planning session conducted at the Rockin' River Inn on the Guadalupe River at Center Point, Texas; now therefore be it Resolved that the Ken County Commissioners' Court does hereby extend its thanks and appreciation to Dr. Christopher M. Avery for providing, pro bono, his valuable time and planning expertise to the people of Kerr County; and be it further Resolved that Kerr County Commissioners' Court endorses the planning concepts utilized by Dr. Avery and unanimously recommends him to other potential public or private users.
