Barbara Nemec Kerr County Treasurer 700 Main BA-104 Kerrville, Texas 78028 March 23, 2004 County Judge & Commissioners, I had put this item on the agenda several weeks ago but was unable to attend and asked the Judge to pass to a later date. Attached is the previous letter which explains the problem. Sincerely, .._. ~'~-~ Barbara Nemec ~-- Barbara Nemec Kerr County Treasurer 700 Main BA-104 Kerrville, Texas 78028 January 20, 2004 County Judge & Commissioners, I have received several phone calls in reference to January 02, 2004 "Holiday". Some departments are showing this day off as a holiday while others are charging it against their vacation and comp time. And still another problem should those employees who worked Jan. 02 receive comp time at time and a half? Each employee needs to be treated fairly to avoid any potential lawsuits. If ~- this decision is left up to each elected official there will be an inconsistency within the county employees. Sincerely, Barbara Nemec
