"BUSTER" BALDWIN, Commissioner Pct. 1 WILLIAM "BILL" WILLIAMS, Commissioner Pct. 2 JONATHAN LETZ, Commissioner Pct. 3 DAVE NICHOLSON, Commissioner Pct. 4 0 ~`1 O 2 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 On Monday, January 3, 2005, at 11:50 a.m., an emergency meeting of the Kerr County Commissioners Court was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, Kerr County Courthouse, Kerrville, Texas, and the following proceedings were had in open court: P R O C E E D I N G S JUDGE TINLEY: Let me call to order the emergency meeting of the Kerr County Commissioners Court scheduled for this date and time, Monday, January the 3rd, 2005, at 11:50 a.m. Single item on the agenda is consider and discuss approval of transfer of funds to Kerr County Juvenile Detention Facility to cover payroll and related operational expenses for a period ending 12-31-04, and ratification of prior payment of any such sums. The Auditor has brought to my attention that the payroll for the period ending December 31, '04, we were -- $13,579.75 that was not covered by prior transfers. Is that correct, Mr. Auditor? MR. TOMLINSON: That's correct. JUDGE TINLEY: Okay. COMMISSIONER LETZ: So, that's the amount we need to transfer? COMMISSIONER WILLIAMS: Do we have to declare an emergency and do that? JUDGE TINLEY: Since it's obviously going to have to come from reserves, non-budgeted funds. COMMISSIONER WILLIAMS: Move we declare an emergency and pay the appropriate funds necessary to cover the payroll expenses in the information provided by the Auditor. COMMISSIONER LETZ: Second. JUDGE TINLEY: Motion made and seconded to declare an emergency and approve the payment of payroll ending December 31, 2004, for the Juvenile Detention Facility in the amount of $13,579.75. Any question or discussion? All in favor of the motion, signify by raising your right hand. (The motion carried by unanimous vote.) JUDGE TINLEY: All opposed, same sign. (No response.) JUDGE TINLEY: That motion does carry. That's the only item on the agenda, gentlemen, so -- COMMISSIONER WILLIAMS: Can I see you before you leave? COMMISSIONER BALDWIN: Is there a free meal in this anywhere? Came to be heard this the 3rd day of January 2005 with a motion made by Commissioner Baldwin seconded by Commissioner Nicholson. The Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0 to declare an emergency to cover the payroll in the amount of $13,579.75 for Kerr County Juvenile Detention Facility for a period ending 12-31-2004 with funds from reserves.
