In keeping with the Nash Report, Christine has completed six years of uninterrupted employment and should, therefore, be entitled to three pay grade moves upward. The knowledge, experience and skills she has gained as an emplo3~ee of Kerr County is consistent with the skills necessary for this job and she was recruited on that basis. She is melding into the job requirements in my office rapidly. As a matter of fact, she is becoming proficient in a completely new data base at an expeditious pace. We anticipate converting to a data base program that she is already familiar with, which will be even a greater asset. r- It is the County's policy to present a request like this to you for your approval. Historically, this is consistent with past Court action. Mrs. Martinez should receive the pay increases her very good job record has entitled her to. .--,
