One of the contracts that will be re-negotiated before this year is the EMS contract
between Kerr County and the City of Kerrville. As our budget process is fast
approaching I thought it would be a good idea to look at alternatives to the current
contract.
I am optimistic that we will come to an agreement with the City of Kerrville. However, as
the budget process is about to begin and we have not yet received a proposal from the
City of Kerrville, we may want to consider other options. For this reason I feel it would
be prudent to discuss contracting with a private company to provide this service. This
discussion may be of assistance in our discussions with the City of Kerrville.
