Came to be heard this the 9~' day of May 2005, with a motion made by Commissioner
Williams, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin. The Court unanimously approved by a
vote of 4-0-0 the resolution declaring May 10, 2005 as Kerr County Law Day.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS The United States of America is a republic founded upon Judeo-Christian
principles; and
WHEREAS The vision of our Founding Fathers is embodied in the laws enacted by the
legislative bodies throughout these United States; and
WHEREAS The rule of law is a fundamental tenet of the American way of life; and
WHEREAS It is appropriate that we set aside one day each year to recognize the
positive role of our heritage as a law abiding society.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kerr County Commissioners' Court
declares May 10, 2005, to be 2005 KERR COUNTY LAW DAY.
