WAIVE PLAT REVIEW FEES
Came to be heard this the 25`h day of July 2005, with a motion made by Commissioner
Letz, seconded by Commissioner Nicholson. The Court unanimously approved by vote
of 3-0-0 to pass a temporary waiver of reduced fees for O.S.S.F. review to $25.00 in
situations where multiple lots are being combined into fewer lots.

We frequently have property owners that want to "clean" up their property in a subdivision and
combine multiple lots into a single lot. The county generally is in favor of this as it makes larger
lots. By law there is an OSSF review of subdivision plats and a fee charged for this review. The
fees charged deter people from going through this process.
I feel we should lower some of the fees associated with revision of plat.
While we are reviewing our Subdivision Rules and Regulations we should review all of our fees
for plat review.

who apply for a pemut to constmcf on-site wastewater Treatment & disposal facilities. This fee funds competitive grams for research, demonstraUOn, and technology transfer for
advanced alternative treatment and disposal tecMologies through the On-site Wastewater Treahnent Research Council. Legal authority for the Fee comes from Chapter 367 of the
Texas Health and Safety Code.
