Came to be heard this the 25~' day of July 2005, with a motion made by Commissioner
Williams, seconded by Commissioner Nicholson. The Court unanimously approved by
vote of 3-0-0 to re appoint Dr. Sam Junkin to the Board of Trustee and additional two-
year term and with Thanks to Dr. Junkin for his many years of service to the board.

Dear Judge Tinley:
My current term on the Hill Country Community Mental Health Mental Retardation
Center Board of Trustees concludes at the end of August.
It is the responsibility of the Commissioners' Court to appoint a person to represent Ken
County.
If I remember correctly, I am now completing my fourth elected term-having served
now for almost 8 years.
Should the Court feel that another representative from Kerr County would be in order, I
will step aside with some feeling of accomplishment and some confidence that the Center
has come a long way and is rapidly maturing in its leadership among such centers in the
State and Nation.
If the Court wishes to appoint another representative, Iurge you to consult with Mrs.
Werlein concerning possible candidates.
If it is the will of the Court that I be reappointed for another two year term, then I will
accept that appointment.
I thank you personally, and the Court generally, for your interest in, and support of, the
HCCMHMRC.
