SET AMOUNT FOR JURY CASH ON HAND FUNDS
Came to be heard this the 29th day of August, 2005, with a motion made by
Commissioner Williams, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin. The Court
unanimously approved by vote of 4-0-0 to:
Set cash on hand amounts for jury funds at $6,000.00 for the District
Clerk, $2,500.00 for the County Clerk and $500.00 for JP courts.

Request the court, pursuant to SH1704, to (1) rescind or clarify the previous order setting jury
reimbursement to reflect that all jurors reporting for duty and NOT selected to serve on a
panel are to be reimbursed $6 per day for the first and any other day required to report as a
prospective juror.
(2) set the fee for jurors selected to serve on a 6 or 12 member panel at $15.00 for the first day,
including the day the panel was sworn but did not hear testimony, and at $40.00 per day for
each day served thereafter.
(3) set the jury cash on hand amount at $6000.00 for the district clerk, $2500.00 for the county
clerk and $500.00 for JP courts holding cash on hand.
