The reason for the transfer is to offer a new cook the salary of $25,048, which is a Crrade 17 Step 1. The new cook is an executive chef. He has experience in food ordering, creating menus, calculating serving portions vs. food waste, efficient time management, and general kitchen experience. He has streamlined the kitchen at this point to make it more efficient. He is in the process of conducting price comparisons with various food vendors. He is familiar with food vendor salesmen and understands food prices and percentage discounts. He also has the ability to calculate food cost per portions. His experience and abilities makes him a valuable asset to the facility. He has the ability to save the facility money with more effective food purchases and preparations.
