Came to be heard this the 14th day of November, 2005, with a motion made
by Commissioner Letz, seconded by Commissioner Nicholson. The Court
unanimously approved by vote of 4-0-0 to:
Approve opening of sweep accounts at Security State Bank and transferring
all of the accounts under the Treasurer's Department to sweep accounts--or
not transferring to; opening sweep accounts under all those accounts that are
under the Treasurer's.

Re: Sweep Accounts
Opening up sweep accounts will mean having to balance two accounts for every account
that we have. However, the county would be earning the current Fed Fund interest rate on
all our deposits.
This is also available for other county funds on deposit from other departments.
I strongly support opening up as many sweep accounts as necessary.
