Came to be heard this the 14th day of November, 2005, with a motion made
by Commissioner Letz, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin. The Court
unanimously approved by vote of 4-0-0 to:
Approve the extension of the TCDRS 900 hour rule to January 1, 2007, for
part-time employees.

Your organization may need more time to make changes to your TCDRS enrollment procedures
because of the 900-hour rule change. If this is the case, you may authorize aone-year extension of
the 900-hour rule. This gives your organization until Jan. 1, 2007, to begin complying with the new
law

wording (ar sirrular language approved by your attorney) at a comnnssionex's co.trt or governing
board meeting before Dec. 31, 2005. If you have already done so, no further action is required. You
do not need to submit this order or resolution to our office. I-Iowevcr, you should keep i.t in your
