Commissioners and County Judge:
I do not expect to learn any more about the circumstances surrounding the appropriation
of $94,001 of Kerr County funds, by the City of Kerrville, to supplement the funding of
the Library. The City Manager was not in his job at the time and does not know how this
transaction occurred and the City Council members were apparently not informed about
the transaction.
I see that the Commissioners' Court has four options for disposing of this issue:
1. Forgive the debt.
2. Demand payment.
3. Reduce contributions to the Library fund under the 2005-2006 budget by $94,001.
4. Reduce the 2006-2007 Library budget by $94,001.
