Agenda Request Approve erson, County Attorney RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County finds it in the best interests of the citizens of Kerr County that the Special Prosecutor for Violent Crimes Against Women, originally established in the 2005-2006 fiscal year, to be renewed for the 2006-2007 fiscal year, to run from September 1, 2006 to August 31, 2006; and WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County agrees to provide the required 25% match for the said project as required by the Violence Against Women Act grant application; and WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County designates County Judge Pat Tinley as the grantee's authorized official. The authorized official, after consultation with Commissioners' Court, is hereby granted authority to apply for, accept, reject, alter, or terminate the grant on behalf of the applicant agency, in accordance with the directions given by said Commissioners' Court. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County approves the submission of the grant application for the continuation of the office of Special Prosecutor for Violent Crimes Against Women to the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division.
