AMERICA, HONOR OOD "...Those who honor Me, I will honor..." 1 Samue12:30 KERR COUNTY, TEXAS PROCLAMATION WHEREAS, America was founded on the principals of religious faith and freedom; and WHEREAS, Throughout the history of our county, we have humbty prayed for guidance and comfort where needed and have given thanks for the many blessings that God has graciously bestowed on this nation since its inception: and WHEREAS, Prayer is regarded by millions as the most important utterance for mankind for its benefits: and WHEREAS, The National Day of Prayer is.a day set aside by Congress for all Americans to pray and reaffu~m spiritual principals upon which this nation is founded; and WHEREAS, This year marks the 55th anniversary of the consecutive annual observance of the National Day of Prayer and its theme, God shed Hid grace on thee and WHEREAS, Across Kerr County, Texas Americans unite is prayer for our nation, state, and county to acknowledge our dependence upon God, to give thanks for the many blessings our country has received from Him, to recognize our personal and corporate renewal and moral values and to invoke God's blessings upon our leaders and ask God to unite and heal our county.
