The understanding is that in the event of an emergency situation, such as hurricane or other natural disaster, when and if Cameron County is ordered to evacuate, your facility in Kerr County will temporarily accommodate ourjweniles as space permits. In the event of an emergency, such as a hurricane or other natural disaster, our Ch'ref Juvenile Probation Officer, Tommy Ramirez, Jr., will authorize the release of as many juveniles as possible, Those juveniles that are not released would then be evacuated from our center and transported to your facility, We will then make contact with you at the earliest possible time to find out how much space is available and advise you of our travel plans, including estimated time of arrival.
