Judge and Commissioners' Court true copies of all filings, documents, letters, notices and
any and all other exchanges of information, including those on electronic media, by and
between and to and from the Kerr County Treasurer's office and the Internal Revenue
Service and the Social Security Administration between January 1, 2003, and the present
date.

information has been prepared for the Court's formal consideration and action at time of Court
Meetings. Your cooperation will be appreciated and contribute towards your request being
addressed at the earliest opportunity. See Agenda Request Rules Adopted by Commissioners'
Court.
I have requested information and copies from the County Treasurer concerning past
problems with the Internal Revenue Service and Social Security information. While I
have requested this information on more than one occasion and have received assurance
from the County Treasurer that such information would be provided (the most recent on
6-8-06) I have not received the requested information and copies.
I need the Commissioners' Court to pass an Order requiring the County Treasurer to
provide the requested information and copies to me, by a specific eazly date.

SUBJECT: Resolution of IRS Problem
With respect to your announcement on 8-8-OS that existing
problems with IRS had been resolved and Kerr County would be
receiving a refund, plus interest, from IRS, please be kind enough to
provide me with a copy of the check received and copies of all letters or
documentation which explain or otherwise refer to the refund or
resolution of the problem.

SUBJECT: Recent Social Security/IRS Problems
CC: Commissioners
Several weeks ago you advised me that you were having new or renewed
problems with Social Security and/or IRS. Although you did not give specific
details concerning these problems, 1 suggested that you consider seeking the
assistance of the Auditor's office and offered my help in any manner that you
thought might be appropriate.
In osier that the Court might be better informed about these matters, I would ask
that you please provide to me at your earliest convenience a written summary
detailing the specifics of these more recent problems, such summary to include,
but not necessarily be limited to the following:
1. The specific nature of each of the problems and the agency involved.
2. The period(s) and/or filing(s) involved in such problem.
3. What action(s) you have taken to resolve each of such problems and the
date(s) each action was taken.
4. What action(s), if any, you intend to take in the future as to each such
problem and the date(s) you propose to take such action.
5. What action(s) or efforts remain to be taken or pursued by your office, if
any, to fully resolve any outstanding issues in connection with each of
such problems.
would also request that you advise me of the status of the Social Security and
IRS problems which were discussed on various occasions last year. If all
of those matters are fully resolved and no further action is required by
your office with respect to those matters, please respond accordingly.

SUBJECT: Recent Social Security/IRS Problems

I would appreciate a response as soon as possible to my May 18, 2006, memo
(copy attached).
In order that the Court might gain a better understanding of the issues involved
and the actions taken with respect to those issues, please provide me with true
copies of all letters, notices, filings and all other documents and communications,
including hard copies of all electronic transmissions, between your office and the
Internal Revenue Service and Social Security Administration which relate to or
concern in any manner the more recent IRS/Social Security problems and all of
the various IRS/Social Security problems which were the subject of discussions
last year.
I would ask that you make every effort to provide me with the requested
information by June 7, 2006.
