"Ch:; members of the Blua Knights Chapter XXtli are planning on hosting a Chili Cook- Off ad the River Staz Park on the 21" of October. The Blue Knights are comprised of active and retired law enforcement officers that ride motorcycles. Our Chapter includes Kerrville Police Department officers, Kerr County Officers, Cnllespie County Officers, State otTrcers, as well as other local and Federal officers. This Chile Cook-Off is a fundraiser to allow us to donate monies to the Kerr County Crisis Women Shelter We have adopted the Women's shelter as our recipient of our fundraisers. It is hopeful that it is successful and will allow us to donate a large sum towards the shelter as well as allow it to be an annual fundraiser. By being' able to utilize the county pazk il would allow those participating in the Chili Cook-Off to park their travel trailers'in the county park on Friday afternoon and remove them on Sunday rnoirins.
