The maximum allocable accumulation of unused vacation leave is 160 hours. At the end of each fiscal year, any annual leave balance 1n excess of the maximum is reduced to the maximum rithout compensation. Employees terminating employment during the initial aix-month period rill not be paid for accumulated vacation leave. Employees terminating employment after six-months or more of employment rho have accumulated in excess of 160 hours rill only be paid for 160 hours. ,. 04 If an official holiday falls within a regular employee's HOLIDAY DURING vacation, the employee rill be granted the holiday and not VACATION charged for a day of vacation. 9.05 Sick leave is earned at the rate of one day per month end SICK LEAVE is posted to en employee's record on the first day of each month. Earned sick leave may be utilized ae it is earned from the date of employment with the county if the employee is absent from cork due to: 1. Personal illness or physical or mental incapacity; 2. Medical, dental, or optical examinations or treatments; 3. Medical quarantine resulting from exposure to a contagious disease; or 4. Illness of a member of the employee's immediate family vho requires the employee's personal care and attention.
