OFFICE: County Judge~~ Information Technology Bimonthly Report for September 11, 2006 -November 13, 2006 Replaced seven computers at the courthouse. Installed two new computers. Replaced two computers at the Sheriffs Office. . Installed equipment for the new human resources office. Relocated equipment for the treasurer's office. . Installed iwo new document scanning stations at the Sheriffs office. Law Enforcement and the Jail have started the process of scanning paper records into Odyssey. . Installed one new document scanning station for the county clerk. . Implemented Odyssey public access via the Intemet for: Criminal and Civil case records. Jail and Bond records. Tax Assessor and Appraisal records. Published general election results to the Secretary of State and the county web site for the county clerk. . Converted to the West Kerr Annex to a new Internet service provider. . Started the process for connecting DPS Kerrville and the City of Kerrville to the county network. . Converted the District Clerk's papervision records to the new Odyssey hardware. . Started the conversion from workgroup to domain based networking. . Continued the evaluation process for converting the county clerks land records to a new system. . Assisted the collections department with financial reporting and automation. . Assisted the human resources department with start up. . The county clerk's office continues to assess fees and court costs when filing new county court at law cases despite best efforts. IT will no longer pursue this issue. . Responded to an average of four calls for service' per day. . Responded to an average of one tinrork-stoppage' call per day. . Conducted routine maintenance of the county databases. Hours per week required = 17 . Hours worked during this period were 625 averaging 78 hours per week. Road & Bridge Bi Monthly Report November 7, 2006 Road Projects: 1 } Fn September and October we used 15,869 gallons of oil to seal coat Kerr Country Dr, Stoney Brook, Dnunmund, and Drew. 2) We are still waiting on the paperwork from the property owner so that we can open the realignment of Upper Turtle Creek 3) We have two crews repairing the streets that were torn up for the sewer project in Kemille South. 4) We aze currently working on a list of roads that need to be seal coated this budget year. Employees: Truby has been working with HR to get our employee position schedule and pay corrections done, as well filling a position where one employee left and apart-time position with computer skills.
