Authorize the County Judge to write a letter and use whatever verbage
needed to ask the LCRA to put the Rim Rock to Goat Creek Transmission
Line Project underground, and not be visible to Highway 27.

To the Editor:
Tn response to Mr. Efler's
letter, I have to strongly
disagree with him on his view
of Counclman Gross.
Councilman Gross did his job
and represented the people of
not vote for the tax freeze. The
people voted to give counties
and municipalities in Texas the
ability to enact the tax freeze.
This is not an endorsement of a
tax freeze, just giving. the
people and governing bodies
the power to act.
Mr. Eller, it seems like you
don't agree with many issues
before the council,. maybe you
should think about rrrmring to
represent the people of Kerrville.
But, you live outside the aty
limits of Kerrville, so these
issues don't directly affect you.

This is the number assigned to
the Rim Rock/GOat Creek
LCRA transmission line project.
WE should all request PUC to
advise LCRA to use the most
cost-effective method for the
installation and maintenance of
the project in order to hold
down the cost that will be
passed on to all rate-payers.
We should also encourage
the Kerr County
Commissioner's Court to take
no action on the superficial
request of a few people. The
court has no authority in this
maner. It is unconscionable to
keep putting the court in a no-
win situation. I'd like to point
to the few trying to pressure the
court with comments and
newspaper ads that the court is
elected to represent what is
best for the majority, not
pander to the desires of a few.
Stop wasting the court's time
and let them get on with
cunning the county's business.

commentators are tending to
dismiss the report as a a
surrender document,

The left-wing media
is actually giddy,.

favorite guy: President Bush. Of
course, both positions do not do

are based on emotion; not what's

incisive in his analysis, actually
said on the radio that the Iraqi
insurgents have defeated the U.S.
Army.
That statement is completely
absurd. It would be like saying the

defeated the Israeli Army in Gaza.
No military organization on the
face of the earth can stop thugs
from bombing and murdering
civilians. The truth is the U.S.
military has kept Iraq together and
functioning for nearly four years.

RE: Rim Rock to Goat Creek Transmission Line Project, Kerr County
Gentlemen:
At its December 11, 2006 regular meeting, the Kerr County Commissioners Court
considered an agenda item which proposed that the Kerr County Judge write a letter to
LCRA requesting that the above referenced transmission line be installed underground
and / or that such line should not under any circumstances be visible from State Highway
27.
After discussion and corisideratiorr of such agenda item, and at the express direction or
the Kerr County Commissioners Court, it is respectfully requested the LCRA carefully
evaluate and give due consideration to the underground installation of such transmission
line. In addition the Commissioners Court requests that the existing and future aesthetics
of the Guadalupe River Valley be among your highest priorities of consideration in
determining the placement of such line either above or below ground.
