Approve waiver of the rental fee for the exhibit hall, but that the Child's
Place Learning Center, Inc. will bear the expense for the setup and cleanup.

Our organ'IZation is a non-profit childcare and early teaming center servicing famil'~es
of Kerville and the surrounding areas. Our programs inGude care for children from
birth through age 12 and activities that stimulate all areas of children's teaming. We
have a specialized kinder-readiness program for children age 4 and 5 who are
preparing to enter kindergarten in the upcoming school year.
Each year we host a graduation or promotion ceremony for these children as they
finish their school year. In the past we have hosted this at our center and the Kerr
County Extension Office.. Our program has outgrown the space that we have to
accommodate this ceremony. We have booked the exhibit hall at the Hill Country
Youth Exhibition Center for Wednesday, May 23id, 2007 in order to have a space
large enough to accommodate this very special program.
~~° We are respectfully requesting to have the cyst of the use of the hall waived for this
event as it is not in our budget to pay hall rent and we would like for this ceremony to
continue to be a success. We would need only the exhibit hall on Wednesday, the
23`d of May, 2007 along with 100 chairs, 6 tables, and a small stage for our
commencement and program that the children have prepared for their families. We
will be able to provide "additionally insured" liability/ coverage to you provided by our
insurance carrier.

importance of what our children are teaming.
