Long Range Facility Needs of the Kerr County Jail and Law Enforcement Center.
Recommend appointing 5 member committee with each member of the Commissioners
Court appointing one member and the Sheriff serving ex-officio committee member. The
charge to the committee is:
Evaluate existing facility physical condition and needs.
Evaluate future jail needs.
Evaluate future law enforcement needs.
Evaluate ways to reduce jail population.
Evaluate various options for expansion.
