Came to be heard this the 25th day of June, 2007, with a motion made by
Commissioner Letz, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin. The Court unanimously
approved by vote of 3-0-0 that:
There will be no fee or application required whenever a lot line is removed
between two or more lots or if there is a minor revision to a plat, and the minor
revision is subjective, and determined by the Environmental Health Department.

RE: OSSF Review for Revision of Plats for Kerr County Subdivisions
There has been discussion as to whether Environmental Health (E.H.} needs to review
and/or sign revisions of plats when it combines lots. At the last Commissioners' Court
you asked that we place this item on today's agenda. I'm sure there are issues which
E.H. and the County Attorney would like to address an this item, but the only issue for
Road & Bridge is the routing process.
Since we are not familiar with OSSF rules we don't feel comfortable making the
decision as to whether E.H. should review/and or sign the final plat. Therefore, we ask
,,...,, that the routing slip continue to go through E.H. for review of the statement for
correctness and for them to determine if they need to sign the final plat.
Attached is a copy of the routing slip currently being used for Alternate Plat Process
to assure all entities and departments have been notified. On page 2, you will notice that
utility companies sign the routing slip even if they do not sign the final plat. We feel this
would be an appropriate way for the Court to see that E.H. has received the information
they need.
Please let us know what changes you want us to make so that this process works for
the surveyors, E.H. and us.

approval to make any changes and/or corrections recommended by the R&B Administrator or
the Court.
