ORDER NO. 2 RAINWATER HARVESTING TAX INCENTIVE PROGRAM On this the 10th day of December 2001, upon motion made by Commissioner Williams, seconded by Commissioner Griffin, the Court adopted by a vote of 3-2-0, with Commissioner Baldwin and Commissioner Letz voting against, the Rainwater Harvesting Incentive Program as a component of the Kerr County Water Conservation policy. RAINWATER HARVESTING A Component of Kerr County Water Conservation Policy PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS • Property owners will be erY~ible for aone-time $1 tax credit against their future Kerr County taxes for every $10 invested in Rainwater Harvesting Equipment purchased, that meets or exceeds the established minimum criteria, up to a maximum of $1,000, or the limit of a property owner's County tax liability (whichever is the lesser) in the year ollowin inspection and certification of the installed Rainwater Harvesting system • Application for participation in this program must be made through Headwaters Ground Water Conservation District (HGWCD) at its office, 1418 Sidney Baker North, Kerrville Texas • Inspection of the installed system must be made by field personnel of Headwaters Ground Water Conservation District.
