AIRPORT GOVERNANCE AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF KERRVILLE
Came to be heard this the 26th day of November, 2007, with a motion made by
Commissioner Letz, seconded by Commissioner Williams. The Court unanimously
approved by vote of 4-0-0 to:
Authorize the County Judge to write a letter to the city of Kerrville asking them to
appoint members to negotiate with the Commissioners' Court on long-term
governance issues related to the Kerrville/Kerr County Airport, and ask the Judge
to only send the letter if they take no action at their meeting on November 27,
2007.

The Kerr County Commissioners' Court would like to form a Committee to consider
governance issues for the Kerrville / Kerr County Airport. At this time we are requesting
that the City Council appoint 2 members of City Council to sit on the Committee, along
with 2 members of the Commissioners' Court.
We hope that the Council will see fit to approve the formation of this Committee and
designate the Council members to the Committee promptly in order that the Kerrville /
Kerr County Airport Governance Committee might begin meeting in the near future.
