RESOLUTION
A Resolution of Kerr county Commissioners' Court supporting of Tezas State Arts and Crafts
Educational Foundation application to manage the Arcadia Theatre as amulti-purpose public events
venue.
WHEREAS The Texas State Arts and Crafts Educational Foundation leases property
owned by Kerr County at the Hill Country Youth Exhibit Center and has
developed same into the River Star Arts and Events Park; and
WHEREAS TSACEF has met or exceed Kerr County's expectations for the
development of River Star Arts And Events Park as a public facility; and
WHEREAS TSACEF has demonstrated its ability to manage River Star Arts and
Events Park to the benefit of The citizens of Kerr County; and
WHEREAS TSACEF Board of Directors is submitting a proposal to the City of
Kerrville to manage the Arcadia Theatre as amulti-purpose public events
venue; now therefore be it
RESOLVED That Kerr County Commissioners' Court, by adoption of this Resolution,
expresses its support of The Application of TSACEF to the City of
Kerrville to manage the Arcadia Theatre as amulti-purpose
Public Events venue; and be it further
RESOLVED That this Resolution be forwarded to the Mayor and City Council, City of
Kerrville, and the Board of Directors, Texas State Arts and Crafts
Educational Foundation.
