The State has issued a start date of 12/02/07 and contract for the County's 2007
Colonia Area Planning grant which will provide detailed study of the Center Point and
nearby Colonia areas (Hill River Country Estates and Westwood Park).
The firs# step in the process of moving forward will be to complete the RFP for planning
services requirement.
In order to authorize proceeding with the RFP, please consider the following for your
Court agenda at the February 11, 2008 meeting:
Authorize request for proposals seeking a firm to provide Colonia Area Planning
Services under Kerr County's Texas CDBG Program Contract Number 727175.
Either I or Marilyn Shashoua, our Planning Director, will attend the Court to discuss this
Planning grant award and answer any questions. We can arrive early to discuss the
plan in more detail if you'd like, or we can address it during Court.
