ORDER NO. 30715 MONTHLY REPORTS Came to be heard this the 28th day of January, 2008, with a motion made by Commissioner Letz, seconded by Commissioner Oehler, the Court unanimously approved by vote of 4-0-0 the following monthly reports: Emergency Service District #2 3 c~`7tS 3/ `~ ~~D- ~ Monthly Reports for Commissioners' Court on: January 28, 2008 Emergency Service District #2 ANNUAL REPORT OF KERB COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICE DISTRICT #2 TU KERR COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT January 18, 2408 1. Relations, this year, between the Kerr County Emergency Service District #2, Mountain Home Volunteer Fire Department and the District Community have greatly improved from the past. 2.On August 22, 2007, the Kerr County Emergency Service District #2 approved a tax rate of 3.5% (.035 cents) per each $100.00 of property evaluations, which is estimated revenue of $27,811.00. 3. On October 13, 2007, the Mountain Home Volunteer Fire Departrnent hosted their second annual Fund Raiser (fish fry). Kerr County Emergency Service District #2 assisted in the Fire Prevention/Protection Education program in conjunction with the Mountain Home Volunteer Fire Department. This event was very successful and was welcomed by the Community, raising approximately $10,000.00, allowing the Mountain Home Volunteer Fire Department to add to their account. 4. The Kerr County Emergency Service District #2 insurance will be included in the Mountain Home Volunteer Fire Department insurance since it was at no extra cost and the insurance Company was very pleased that both entities were included in the Policy. 5. KCESD#2 has approved 535,481.60 funding per MHVFD request. This funding is contingent on MHVFD applying for Grants for waterwell, communications, personal protective equipment and training. 6. Kerr County Emergency Service District #2 approved an emergency funding of $7,590.00 for MHVFD to purchase two (2) SCBA's and large bottles to bring the unit count back to six (6). Two (2) were borrowed from Divide VFD. We have amended the budget to include $4,000.00 approved funding from 2007. 7. Financial records of the Kerr County Emergency District #2 have been audited by the Ken County Auditor. As of this date, the letter of acceptance by the Ken County Auditor has nat been received by the KCESD#2.
