See Agenda Request Rules Adopted by Commissioners' Court. ~r-' COURTHOUSE WINDOWS RESTORATION RECAP: 12/13/07 Kerr County notified the Texas Historical Commission (Attn: Mark Cowan) of their intent to replace the existing windows in the original building of the Kerr County Courthouse. 1/14/08 Texas Historical Commission sent letter to Kerr County requesting that Kerr County consider entering the Texas Historic Courthouse Preservation Program. 2/11/08 Commissioners Court held workshop with Mr. Stan Graves of the Texas Historical Commission regarding the Proposed Window Replacement at the Kerr County Courthouse. 2/14/08 Mr. Graves sent a letter to the Court which included a list of completed courthouse restoration projects and the contracting firm that successfully performed the window work at each project. 2/26/08 The following letter was sent to those companies on the list (2/14/08 letter) that were located in Texas: February 26, 2008 RE: Possible windows restoration project at Kerr County courthouse Dear Mr. The Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, is interested in exploring the rehabilitation/remediation of 77 existing windows in the Kerr County Courthouse. The name of your firm was provided by the Texas Historical Commission as a firm which is competent and capable to do work of this type. If you would have an interest in possibly participating in this project, please contact us so that we might discuss the matter further and/or set up a time and date for you to inspect and/or review the project. Initially Kerr County is interested in getting a ballpark estimate on what your company would charge to restore these windows and bring them up to top shape.
