MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN KERB COUNTY AND
THE KERB COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION
Whereas, it is the mutual desire of the parties to improve the Hill Country Youth Exhibit Center;
Whereas, it would be beneficial to the citizens of Kerr County to improve facilities designated
for use by the Kerr County Fair Association;
Whereas, the parties through cooperative agreement can reduce costs and improve economic
efficiencies thereby maximizing benefits to the citizens of Kerr County;
Wherefore let it be known that:
It is hereby agreed between the parties that the Kerr County Fair Association and The County of
Kerr will work together to improve the current Hill Country Youth Exhibit Center horse
barn facilities by pouring concrete for flooring conforming to standard architectural and
building practices.
It is agreed that Kerr County Fair Association will pay all expenses, fees and costs associated
with adding the concrete floor in the space dedicated to the Fair Association.
It is agreed that Kerr County in the interest of economic efficiency will initially fund and provide
such concrete services and products as are approved by commissioners court to be paid
from current budget year revenue.
It is agreed that the Kerr County Fair Association will reimburse Kerr County all expenses, fees,
and costs during the current budget year. The payment shall be delivered to Kerr County
Treasurer Mindy Williams at 700 Main Street, Kerrville, Texas as quickly as possible but
no later than September 30, 2008.
