RE: Set Public Hearing to Abandon, Vacate & Discontinue Fossler Road, Pct. 4
It came to our attention while Headwaters Ranch was being platted that the deed records showed
a "county road" through their property and into Mrs. Walton's property. The road is not
maintained by the county and to our knowledge has not been used for over 20 years.
As the map in your packets shows, Mrs. Walton accesses her property thru Houston-Schumacher
Road and 911 has named her private drive as Fossler Road (the highlighted portion). Ranchland
Enterprises and Mrs. Walton own all land abutting the road and want the county road to be
abandoned, vacated and discontinued, leaving Ranchland to plat and build their portion of the
road as Midwaters Drive and Mrs. Walton's portion to be a private drive.
At this time we ask that you set a public hearing for April 28, 2008.

RE: Request To Abandon A County Road Which Extends Off Of
Farm To Market Highway 1340, Kerr County, Texas
Dear Mr. Odum:
Ranch Enterprises, Ltd. is in the process of platting
Headwaters Ranch, Phase Two, a subdivision in Kerr County, Texas.
Our surveyor has discovered that there was a reference to a County
Road passing through the property in a Warranty Deed which is
~wr° filed of record in Volume 672, Page 80 of the Real Property
Records of Kerr County, Texas. Ranch Enterprises, Ltd. requests
that the County abandon this road. The road has not been
maintained by the County in twenty (20) years, and no one is using
the road as it crosses the Headwaters Ranch.
