(TEESI) is under contract with the Texas Comptroller's State Energy Conservation Office (SEGO) to provide free technical assistance services to Local Governments. This program is designed to help Texas Local Governments set up and maintain effective energy-efficiency programs. TEESI has been assigned to offer you the following no cost services, which maybe of interest to you: • Facility surveys and preliminary energy assessments. • Assistance with Senate Bill 12 and House Bi113693 compliance. • Help with the development of an Energy Management Plan/Policy. • Energy management training workshops. • Technical assistance on energy efficient technologies. • Identification of possible funding options to implement capital improvement projects. The process starts with a free facility survey conducted by our engineers to identify any energy efficiency opportunities. Typical measures evaluated in the survey are Heating and Air-Conditioning Systems Improvements, Lighting Upgrades, and Building Controls. As a program participant, your only commitment is to evaluate the measures and possibly consider implementing the projects if they are of benefit to you.
