Came to be heard this the 27th day of May, 2008, with a motion made by
Commissioner Letz, seconded by Commissioner Williams. The Court
unanimously approved by vote of 4-0-0 to:
Open bids for one 6-ton air conditioning unit and four 8-1 /2 ton air conditioning
units from:
1. Trademark -Option 1 -Based on a 10 SEER unit, R-22, for 3 8-1 /2
ton roof top units and two 6 ton package units - $31,500
Option 2 - a 13 SEER Puron unit, three 8-1 /2 ton package units on
roof top and two 6 ton air conditioning package units - $53,750
2. Hardin Heating and Cooling - 2 Carrier 6 ton units and 3 Carrier 8-
1/2 ton package units for a total of $26,621
And move we accept all air conditioning bids and refer to Maintenance Director
for recommendation.

located at 400 Clear Water Paseo,
Kerrville, Texas 78028. Request for specifications can be obtained from Tim
Bollier at the Kerr County Courthouse, Maintenance
Department, 830-896-9016,
700 Main, Maintenance Department located in the basement area of Kerr
County Courthouse, Kerrville, Texas 78028. Pre-bid conference is to be held
on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Kerr County Sheriff's
Department. Bids must be presented by the bid closing date of May 27, 2008
on or before 8:30 a.m. on that date. Bids must be sealed and marked as "Bid
for New A/C Units (Kerr County Sheriff's Department), Kerr County
Maintenance
Department" and to the attention of the Kerr County Auditor, 700 Main Street,

Three Carrier 8.5-ton package units M# 50Hj-009 as replacements for RTU #1, RTU# 14, and RTU#19.
No Curb Adapters would be needed for these units
Warranty: 5 years on the compressor, 1 years on alt other parts and 1 year labor.
Price good for 30 of days
Adding Hail Guards to Package units (Recommended) $875.00
