RE: Concept Plan and Set Public Hearing for Revision of Plat for The Woods Section Two,
Revision of Lots 79, 80, 81, 82, & 83, Vol. 7, Page 369, Pct. 2
The new owners of lot 81R & 83R are requesting the cul-de-sac be further away from their
home. To accomplish this there are several issues that need to be considered.
When Mrs. Kilgore & Mrs. Hardin were in Court last month, Commissioner Letz drew a sketch
for them to consider and going on that sketch, we have come up with the two scenarios enclosed
in your backup. Both would require variances.
Scenario #1
1. To build the cul-de-sac in this way without infringing on the neighboring lots we are
~" requesting to build it with the 39.67 radius and a 30 ft. radius pavement which is the size
of all other cul-de-sacs in The Woods subdivision.
2. We request a variance to the 50 ft. set back on Lot 79R.
3. The cul-de-sac would not touch Lot 81R, so the road easement would have to continue
and the lot frontage for that lot would only be one half of the road right-of--way or 25ft.
Scenario # 2
1. Use the same construction of the cul-de-sac and set back for Lot 79R.
2. Remove the lot line and easements between 83R & 81R making one lot (81RR). This
would give each parcel adequate road frontage.
After choosing one of these options, we would like to set the Public Hearing for October 14,
2008 (Oct. 13, Columbus Day Holiday?) 10:10 a.m.
The homeowners, Mrs. Kilgore & Mrs. Hinds, are both with us today if you have any questions.

I have the ads and scheduled dates to run. But I do have a couple of questions.
Am I to run both ads on insertion order dates? Sept 11, Sept. 25 and Oct. 2nd?
And, the Sept. 25 date says somewhere between 1st and 3rd publication, I am not sure what
that means.
