The estimated area is 50,000 square yards. We have discussed that the City would take care of all road preparation work for the road, along with providing locations for aggregate stockpiles. Preparation would include, but not be limited to, clearing the ROW of brush and obstructions. repairing base failures, pot holes, level ups, vegetation control and brooming the prepared road surface prior to Kerr County sealing the road surface with emulsion and aggregate. The City would also be responsible for notifying the residents on the road as to when and where paving would take place and if any road closures or re-routing would occur. The City would be responsible for making sure that there are no obstructions in or around the road during the paving process. The City of would be responsible for proper signage being put in place and assisting with road flagging and traffic control. Kerr County would apply the emulsion, lay down the aggregate to the prepared road surface, and roll the surface after said application. Kerr County will place orders for the aggregate and the emulsion. The City would reimburse Kerr County for the aggregate and emulsion. Upon the completion of paving, the City would be responsible for brooming and cleaning the area. Kerr County's expense in this project would be the cost for employees' wages and equipment fuel.
