Hierholzer RE: Grant Application for American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009 Consider, discuss and take appropriate action regarding submission of the grant application for American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009; Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Formula Grant Program for 2009-2010, and adopt resolution. #31313 Resolution WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County finds it in the best interest of the citizens of Kerr County that the project entitled Criminal Case Management Software Acguisition/Patrol Car Acquisition application be made by the Kerr County Sheriff s Office and the 198 Judicial District Attorney's Office for American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009; Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Formula Grant Program for fiscal year 2010, grant funding to begin October 1, 2009 and ending September 30, 2010; and WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County agrees that there are no matching funds for the said project; and WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County agrees that in the event of loss or misuse of the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009; Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Formula Grant Program funds, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County assures that the funds will be returned to the Criminal Justice Division in full. WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County designates the County Judge as the grantee's authorized official. The authorized official is given the power to apply for, accept, reject, alter or terminate the grant on behalf of the applicant agency. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Commissioner's Court of Kerr County approves submission of the grant application for the project entitled Criminal Case Management Software Acpuisition/Patrol Car Acquisition to the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division.
