In mid-July, I mailed a letter informing you of San Antonio AirI,IFE's intention to self air-medical
transport memberships in your county. Since that time, we have enjoyed a successful roil-out of
our program and would like to invite you and the employees of Kerr County to join us.
The AirLIFE Guardian Angel plan enables enrollees to avoid out of pocket expenses they might
incur in the event of an air medical transport by AirLIFE. Enrollment fees are $49 a year per
family and $10 per person for governmental agencies and for organizations with over 100
employees. The county government would be eligible far the $10 per employee rate only if
memberships were bought by the county for its employees. This can be provided to employees
on a annual basis or as a~one-time purchase. If the county decides to forego an annual renewal
for its employees after the initial year, AirLIFE would offer renewals for county empl~yees'at a
$25 "corporate rate°. Unlike similar plans, this annual fee covers all family members living'at a
single address, as well as dependent children away at college.
As the region's only not far profit air ambulance service, we have been asked to initiate this
benefit to the community for several years. As an industry leader, we had to carefully craft a
program that would reflect the reputation and superior quality of our program, and those oi! our
partners, the Baptist Health and University Health Systems.
