		     	Project Description:  Flat Rock and Ingram Dam Grouting,  Additional Construction Phase Services
		     	Description of Services Added:
		     	Provide additional construction and engineering services  for the development of repair concepts in
		     	accordance with Article II, Item CC, to address the following unforeseen items encountered during
		     	construction:
			  	1)  The repair of unforeseen,  concealed, and  large voids beneath the Ingram slabs, and
			  	2)  To address the repair of a large crack extending essentially the full length of the dam.
		     	Proposed Contract Modifications will be prepared for Contractor to develop costs for a change order.  The
		     	Contractor's responses to the PCMs will be evaluated and review comments provided if necessary.  A
		     	Change Order will be prepared based on PCMs for County's review and approval.  The County approved
		     	change order will be submitted to TCEQ Dam Safety for review and approval.
		     	Contract modifications documented in the change order and field will be reflected in record drawings to be
		     	developed upon completion of the construction phase for this project.

		     	Based upon the contractor's estimate of up to six weeks to perform the additional work, Construction Phase
		     	Services and Engineering Services have been developed for a similar time period.
		     	Deliverables:
		     	Proposed Contract Modification (PCM) to existing Construction Documents with repair concepts for
		     	addressing the void filling with other than neat cement grouts.
		     	Proposed Contract Modification (PCM) to existing Construction Documents with repair methods and material
		     	selection for repairing the extensive upstream open joint along the length of the dam.
		     	Change Order to document Contractor's Reponses to PCMs for approval by Owner.
		     	Construction observation of additional works by the contractor for approximately six weeks.
		     	Conditions
		     	Terms and Conditions of the Agreement for Professional Services between Kerr County Commissioners
		     	Court and Freese and Nichols, Inc., dated February 22, 2010, shall apply to this contract amendment.
		     	Compensation shall be adjusted as follows:
		     	Compensation for these additional services shall be computed based on the Schedule of Charges contained
		     	in the Original Contract and Owner will only be billed for services provided. The contract amendment amount
		     	set forth below ($49,829.00) is to be considered a Not -To- Exceed amount for these additional services. This
		     	amount will not be exceeded by FNI without first notifying Owner in writing of any anticipated overrun and
				receiving approval of same from Owner.

		     	services for  approximately six weeks and concurrent with the contractor's activities on site
		    	The  above  described  services  shall  proceed  upon  return  of  this  Contract  Change  Authorization.
		    	Services will be billed as they are done. All other provisions, terms, and conditions of the agreement f¢r
		    	services which are not expressly amended shall remain in full force and effect.
