		  	Dear Judge Tinley,
		  	It is time to once again request approval to conduct Kerr County Market Days at the Courthouse. For 2011,
		  	we do not anticipate any changes but rather reaffirm our  commitment to the  original vision of an old
		  	fashioned "market on the square." We will always vigilantly enforce the homemade, homegrown standards
		  	for Market Days, always striving to raise the quality of products offered to customers, and we will always
		  	respect the privilege of using the Courthouse grounds.
		  	If approval for the 2011  season is granted, it will be our 10 season. We now average approximately 86
		  	vendors per Market with the May, November and December Markets reaching maximum participation at
		  	about 100 vendors. Non -profit organizations continue to have a significant role at every Market with 16
		  	different groups participating so far in 2010, including several new groups such as the Hunt Garden Club
		  	and the Salvation Army.
		  	For 2011, we hope to add more special attractions such as musical performances, craft demonstrations, and
		  	auto and motorcycle shows. These are in addition to coordinating with KDBA to plan simultaneous events
		  	for the mutual benefit of the Market and our downtown restaurants and retail businesses. It is hoped these
		  	additions will keep the Market an interesting and fun activity for all our local customers and that these
		  	efforts plus expanded advertising will attract more and more out -of -town visitors.
