"BUSTER" BALDWIN, Commissioner Pct. 1 DAVE NICHOLSON, Commissioner Pct. 4 24 ABSENT: WILLIAM "BILL" WILLIAMS, Commissioner Pct. 2 25 JONATHAN LETZ, Commissioner Pct. 3 2 1 On Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at 4:30 p.m., an emergency 2 meeting of the Kerr County Commissioners Court was held in the 3 Commissioners' Courtroom, Kerr County Courthouse, Kerrville, 4 Texas, and the following proceedings were had in open court: 5 P R O C E E D I N G S 6 JUDGE TINLEY: Let me call to order the 7 special emergency Commissioners Court meeting scheduled for 8 this date, Wednesday, December 10, at 4:30 p.m. It's a 9 couple of minutes after that right now. The item on the 10 agenda that I have is to consider and discuss burn ban for 11 Kerr County. Commissioner Nicholson, do you have something 12 you wish to offer on this? 13 COMMISSIONER NICHOLSON: I make a motion that 14 we impose a burn ban for Kerr County for 90 days, beginning 15 at 5 o'clock today, and that we give each individual County 16 Commissioner the authority to lift and/or reinstate the burn 17 ban as conditions warrant. 18 COMMISSIONER BALDWIN: I second that motion. 19 JUDGE TINLEY: Motion made and seconded to 20 reinstitute the burn ban effective at 5 p.m. today for a 21 period of 90 days, with each Commissioner to have the 22 authority to lift or reinstate, as conditions warrant, the 23 burn ban or not within that 90-day period. Any further 24 question or discussion on the motion?
