"BUSTER" BALDWIN, Commissioner Pct. 1 24 WILLIAM "BILL" WILLIAMS, Commissioner Pct. 2 JONATHAN LETZ, Commissioner Pct. 3 25 DAVE NICHOLSON, Commissioner Pct. 4 2 1 On Monday, January 3, 2005, at 11:50 a.m., an emergency 2 meeting of the Kerr County Commissioners Court was held in the 3 Commissioners' Courtroom, Kerr County Courthouse, Kerrville, 4 Texas, and the following proceedings were had in open court: 5 P R O C E E D I N G S 6 JUDGE TINLEY: Let me call to order the 7 emergency meeting of the Kerr County Commissioners Court 8 scheduled for this date and time, Monday, January the 3rd, 9 2005, at 11:50 a.m. Single item on the agenda is consider 10 and discuss approval of transfer of funds to Kerr County 11 Juvenile Detention Facility to cover payroll and related 12 operational expenses for a period ending 12-31-04, and 13 ratification of prior payment of any such sums. The Auditor 14 has brought to my attention that the payroll for the period 15 ending December 31, '04, we were -- $13,579.75 that was not 16 covered by prior transfers. Is that correct, Mr. Auditor? 17 MR. TOMLINSON: That's correct. 18 JUDGE TINLEY: Okay. 19 COMMISSIONER LETZ: So, that's the amount we 20 need to transfer? 21 COMMISSIONER WILLIAMS: Do we have to declare 22 an emergency and do that? 23 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Yeah. 24 JUDGE TINLEY: Yes, we would have to declare 25 an emergency, I would think. 1-3-05 emg 3 1 MR. TOMLINSON: Yeah. 2 JUDGE TINLEY: Since it's obviously going to 3 have to come from reserves, non-budgeted funds. 4 COMMISSIONER WILLIAMS: Move we declare an 5 emergency and pay the appropriate funds necessary to cover 6 the payroll expenses in the information provided by the 7 Auditor. 8 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Second. 9 JUDGE TINLEY: Motion made and seconded to 10 declare an emergency and approve the payment of payroll 11 ending December 31, 2004, for the Juvenile Detention 12 Facility in the amount of $13,579.75. Any question or 13 discussion?
