We'll 7 call this special Commissioners Court agenda -- meeting to 8 order, Friday, November 18th, 2005, at 9 a.m. The purpose 9 of this meeting is to canvass the election returns from the 10 general election held on the 8th day of November, 2005. 11 Envelope? 12 MS. PIEPER: Yes, sir. 13 COMMISSIONER WILLIAMS: Do I need my little 14 hat like Johnny Carson used to wear? 15 COMMISSIONER BALDWIN: Do you want a little 16 fanfare music of some sort? 17 COMMISSIONER WILLIAMS: Drumroll. Okay. 18 Everybody gets a copy of this, Mrs. -- Madam Clerk? 19 MS. PIEPER: I believe there's just -- there 20 is two copies along with that. 21 COMMISSIONER WILLIAMS: Commissioner Baldwin 22 and I can share one, and -- well, there's three, actually. 23 MS. Trying 13 to figure out how this thing works. It doesn't have a total 14 by precinct, does it? Or it goes -- are they going to read 15 it the same way? 16 MS. PIEPER: Scoot it this way. He's going 17 to be reading off these numbers. 18 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Okay, thank you. 19 MS. PIEPER: And we hope they match. 20 COMMISSIONER WILLIAMS: Proposition Number 1: 21 In favor, 4,018.
