           1         On Friday, September 8, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., a special

           2   meeting of the Kerr County Commissioners Court was held in the

           3   Commissioners' Courtroom, Kerr County Courthouse, Kerrville,

           4   Texas, and the following proceedings were had in open court:

           5                       P R O C E E D I N G S

           6             JUDGE TINLEY:  Let me call to order this meeting of

           7   the Kerr County Commissioners Court scheduled for this date

           8   and time, Friday, September the 8th, 2006, at 10 a.m.  It's

           9   that time now.  The agenda item is a public hearing on the

          10   proposed Fiscal Year 2006-2007 tax rate for Kerr County.  So,

          11   at this time, it being 10 a.m. or shortly thereafter, I will

          12   convene and open a public hearing on the proposed FY 2006-2007

          13   tax rate for Kerr County.

          14             (The regular Commissioners Court meeting was closed
                         at 10:01 a.m., and a public hearing was held in open
          15             court, as follows:)

          16                   P U B L I C    H E A R I N G

          17             JUDGE TINLEY:  Is there any member of the public

          18   that wishes to be heard with respect to the proposed Fiscal

          19   Year 2006-2007 tax rate for Kerr County?  Any member of the

          20   public wishing to be heard on this matter?  Seeing no one

          21   moving forward to speak on this matter or otherwise to have

          22   input into it, I will close the public hearing.

          23             (The public hearing was concluded at 10:02 a.m., and
                         the regular Commissioners Court meeting was
          24             reopened.)
