           1         On Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., a

           2   special meeting of the Kerr County Commissioners Court was

           3   held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, Kerr County Courthouse,

           4   Kerrville, Texas, and the following proceedings were had in

           5   open court:

           6                       P R O C E E D I N G S

           7             COMMISSIONER BALDWIN:  We're going to call this

           8   meeting to order.  It's 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2006.

           9   We're at the courthouse.  Let the record reflect that

          10   Commissioners 1, 3, and 4 are present.  First agenda item is

          11   consider, discuss, and adopt a proposed Fiscal Year 2006-2007

          12   tax rate for Kerr County.  Do you want me to read the rates?

          13             COMMISSIONER LETZ:  How about -- I'll make a motion

          14   that we adopt the rate of -- for '06-'07 for County

          15   Maintenance and Operation of .3149, with Interest and Sinking

          16   Fund .0438, Lateral Road .0309, for a total tax rate of .3896.

          17             COMMISSIONER NICHOLSON:  I second.

          18             COMMISSIONER BALDWIN:  We have a motion and a

          19   second.  All in favor, please say "aye."

          20             (The motion carried by unanimous vote.)

          21             COMMISSIONER BALDWIN:  No opposed.  Item 2, consider

          22   and discuss and adopt tax rate for Lake Ingram Road District.

          23   Is there a motion or discussion?

          24             COMMISSIONER NICHOLSON:  I move to approve a rate of

          25   .4300 for the Lake Ingram Road District.

           3             COMMISSIONER LETZ:  Second.
