The sole agenda item this morning is to 12 canvass the official election results for the 2009 November 13 General Constitutional Amendment Election as per Texas 14 Election Code Section 67. Ms. Alford, our Elections 15 Department Director, has provided us with the cumulative 16 report of the Kerr County results for the Constitutional 17 Amendment Election held on November the 3rd, 2009. And, for 18 the record, I will include these -- these results. I'm not 19 going to break it down as to early voting and election day 20 voting; I'm merely going to call out the total vote. 21 Proposition 1. Voting for the proposition, 2,470; 22 against the proposition, 1,861, for a total of 4,331 cast 23 votes. There were 3 over-votes and 81 under-votes. 24 For Proposition 2, voting for the proposal, 3,098; 25 against, 1,258. Total cast votes, 4,356. Two over-votes and 11-12-09 4 1 57 under-votes. 2 For Proposition 3, voting for the proposal, 2,367. 3 Against, 1,975. Total votes cast, 4,342, with 2 over-votes 4 and 71 under-votes. 5 Proposition 4. Number 4, voting for the proposal, 6 1,971 -- 70 votes. Excuse me, 1,970. Against, 2,330, for a 7 total cast votes of 4,300, with one over-vote and 114 8 under-votes. 9 Proposition 5, voting for the proposal, 2,461. 10 Against the proposal, 1,815, for a total cast votes of 4,276, 11 with 4 over-votes and 135 under-votes. 12 Proposition 6, voting for the proposition, 2,529; 13 against, 1,745. Total cast votes, 4,274; 2 over-votes and 14 139 under-votes. 15 Proposition 7, voting for the proposition, 2,989; 16 against, 1,336. Total cast votes, 4,325, with 2 over-votes 17 and 88 under-votes. 18 Proposition Number 8, voting for the proposal, 19 2,872; against, 1,457. Total cast votes, 4,329; zero 20 over-votes and 86 under-votes. 21 Proposition Number 9, voting for the proposition, 22 3,079; against, 1,235, for a total cast votes of 4,314, with 23 2 over-votes and 99 under-votes. 24 Proposition 10, voting for the proposition, 2,852; 25 against, 1,442, for a total cast votes of 4,294, with 3 11-12-09 5 1 over-votes and 118 under-votes. 2 And, finally, Proposition 11. Voting for the 3 proposition, 3,582; against, 784, for a total cast votes of 4 4,366, with 3 over-votes and 46 under-votes. 5 Any questions or comments from any member of the 6 Court? 7 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Move we -- we accept these. 8 Correct, Nadene? I move we accept the votes as read. 9 COMMISSIONER BALDWIN: Second. 10 JUDGE TINLEY: Motion made and seconded to accept 11 the votes as indicated in the record for the official 12 canvass.
