It's 8 11 a.m., and the Kerr County Commissioners Court is in 9 session. He's coming in? He's actually coming in? 10 MR. REEVES: Yeah, he's in there. 11 JUDGE POLLARD: All right, we'll delay just long 12 enough for Commissioner Letz to get here. 13 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Standing ovation, please. 14 (Laughter.) That would get him. 15 SHERIFF HIERHOLZER: Everybody clap and applaud. 16 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Yeah, I think we should. 17 COMMISSIONER BALDWIN: We don't have to stand up, 18 do we? 19 (Commissioner Letz entered the courtroom.) 20 (Applause.) 21 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Thank you. The first item on the 2 agenda is a public hearing on the proposed Kerr County 2014 3 tax rate. I have Diane Bolin down, but I'm opening the 4 public hearing. 5 (The regular Commissioners Court meeting was closed at 11:02 a.m., and a public hearing was held in 6 open court, as follows:) 7 P U B L I C H E A R I N G 8 JUDGE POLLARD: Does anybody wish to speak on this 9 matter? 10 (No response.) 11 JUDGE POLLARD: Mrs. Bolin, do you have any 12 comments or presentation to make to the public? 13 MR. BOLLIER: No, sir. You just need to announce 14 the date and time of the adoption of the tax rate. 15 JUDGE POLLARD: All right. And that's for the 16 fiscal year 2014 and '15? 17 MS. BOLIN: Yes, sir. 18 JUDGE POLLARD: And that tax rate is what? 19 MS. BOLIN: .4443. 20 JUDGE POLLARD: Okay. Anything else? Anybody have 21 anything to comment on in the public hearing?
