            1               JUDGE POLLARD:  All right, it's Thursday,

            2   January the 25th, 2018.  It's now 9 a.m. by atomic time

            3   according to Commissioner Moser, and the Kerr County

            4   Commissioners' Court is in session.  And we're here this

            5   morning to -- we have an approval agenda, and I think

            6   there's an item to be considered.

            7               COMMISSIONER MOSER:  Uh-huh.

            8               JUDGE POLLARD:  Do do we want to take the

            9   considered item first, is that appropriate?

           10               COMMISSIONER MOSER:  That's your call.

           11               JUDGE POLLARD:  All right.  That considered

           12   item is to discuss and take appropriate action to

           13   appoint a new Constable for Precinct 2.

           14               COMMISSIONER MOSER:  Okay, let me just give

           15   a status on that.  The committee of myself, and the

           16   Justice of the Peace Precinct 2, the Sheriff, and head

           17   of HR met.  We have a large number of applications.

           18   We've been through them, and we're going to interview

           19   next week, so we'll bring this back to the next regular

           20   session of Commissioners' Court, period.

           21               JUDGE POLLARD:  I understand there have been

           22   11, is that right?

           23               COMMISSIONER MOSER:  8.

           24               JUDGE POLLARD:  8, okay.  Well, that's fine,

           25   so there's no action on that at this time.
